„"Piast" is one of the classic cigarette brands from the socialist period in Poland. The design of the pack is very minimalist: a white background with red edges, a crown symbol and a decorative font. The word "Piast" is reminiscent of the old Polish Piast dynasty - this creates an impression of nationalism. The red inscription on the side and the marking "Cena ZŁ 18" indicate that this is a product from the period before the inflationary surge and currency reform.
