Description:
„The “Tsugan” cigarette pack is a unique example of late Soviet-era Ukrainian production. The light yellow pack with dark markings and red accents retains the Soviet minimalist aesthetic. The name is presented in large Cyrillic font, and warnings about the harms of smoking are presented in several languages, which is typical of the multinational republics of the USSR. Although the pack is intact, stains and oxidation marks are clearly visible on the foil, which slightly reduces the collectible value.
Value assessment:
-
Collectible value: Medium–higher. Cigarette packs made in the Ukrainian SSR are not common in the collectible market, and brands such as "Цугань" are even rarer, which increases demand among thematic Soviet collections.
-
Condition assessment: Unopened, but with visible surface defects – the condition of the package is assessed as good, but not great.
-
Historical data and popularity: The Ukrainian SSR had a number of local tobacco factories at that time, but most of their products were not widely exported outside the USSR. This mark is very rare and therefore has historical value.
