Description:
This package is visually based on a cultural symbol – the image of the „Golden Ring“ of Russian architecture (cities in the central region of Russia with historic churches and towers). The design is predominantly white with a gold font and background ornament, and features St. Basil’s Cathedral on the front. At the top it is marked: Cigarettes of Russia ("Russian cigarettes"), which refers to the manufacturers' internal national branding. At the bottom are the usual Russian warnings about the harm of smoking. The excise stamp remains original, the packaging is intact.
Value assessment:
-
Collectible value: Medium. The name and design are clearly linked to Russian cultural identity, so this pack is often seen as "thematic", suitable for collectors who accumulate units reflecting Soviet or national design.
-
Condition assessment: Unopened, very good condition. Corners are not bent, cellophane is in good condition, excise sticker is in place.
-
Historical data and popularity: „"Золотое Кольцо" was not widely exported, intended mainly for the domestic market. During production, this series was intended to emphasize "Russian quality" and image. This package is considered a typical mid-segment product.
