Description:
„The Coronas Oro cigarette pack is one of the more prestigious versions for the Spanish domestic market. “Oro„ means “gold„, and the design reflects this – a blue background with gold lettering and an elegant coat of arms at the top conveys solidity. The packaging is original, unpackaged, with a clearly visible excise stamp from Spain. On the front and back are warnings in Spanish, stating that smoking harms the health of others and shortens life – this is typical of packs from 2003-2005. after the EU health labelling reform.
Value assessment:
-
Collectible value: Medium to high. The "Oro" version is slightly rarer than the "Plata", and remaining in its original packaging increases its value. The brand was not widely exported outside of Spain, making the package more exotic outside of Spain.
-
Condition assessment: Unopened, in excellent condition. The film is intact, the print is clear, the excise sticker is intact.
-
Historical data and popularity: Coronas were long produced for domestic consumption in Spain, but production has been discontinued in the last 15 years, which has increased interest among Spanish collectors, especially those who collect extinct brands.
