Description:
„"Mewa Menthol" are menthol-flavored cigarettes released for the Polish domestic market. The pack is greenish in color with a minimalist silhouette of a white seagull, which symbolizes the name "Mewa" (Lithuanian for "seagull" or "seagull"). The top shows the tasteful inscription "Quality Tobaccos", and on the front is a warning in Polish about the harms of smoking. The pack is sealed, with the original cellophane and a 2008 Polish excise sticker. The manufacturer is "ZTSA Lublin", one of the most famous Polish tobacco manufacturers at that time.
Value assessment:
-
Collectible value: Average. Although Mewa was not a widely known or exported brand, the pack is in excellent condition, with a clearly marked production period, and menthol variants from that period are becoming increasingly rare, especially after the ban on menthol cigarettes in the EU (as of 2020).
-
Condition assessment: Unopened, original cellophane and excise sticker. Collector's condition - excellent.
-
Historical data and popularity: „Mewa was a less popular brand aimed at the budget segment in Poland. Nowadays, the pack is hard to find even at local auctions.
