Description:
Tekel 2000 Filterli is one of the historic products of the Turkish tobacco manufacturer Tekel. The pack is distinguished by its red and white color scheme, diagonally divided design and gold trim. The word "Filterli" means "with filter" in Turkish, and "65mm" refers to the length of the cigarettes. A 2005 Turkish excise sticker is visible at the top, which helps to more accurately determine the period of production. Tekel was a state-owned tobacco producer for a long time, and its products are now considered cultural treasures among collectors.
Value assessment:
-
Collectible value: Medium–high. Due to the privatization of the Tekel company and the disappearance of many of its products from the market, these packages are gaining collector value, especially when they have the original excise stamp and intact film.
-
Condition assessment: Unopened, in excellent condition with a well-preserved 2005 excise stamp.
-
Historical data and popularity: Tekel was one of Turkey's leading cigarette brands, and the "2000" series is often associated with the last years of state production.
