Description:
This „Golubyse Kupola“ (Lithuanian: „Blue Domes“) cigarette pack stands out with a very unusual design – it depicts a building with characteristic blue domes or a wave-shaped roof, typical of Soviet-era hotels or cultural centers. The design subtly combines a calligraphic Russian font, a red stripe at the top, and a light background. The sides of the pack contain the text „сигареты с фильтром“ (cigarettes with a filter). Such visually specific packs, representing architectural elements, were a rare exception during the USSR – they were often issued for regional use or had a tourism theme.
Value assessment:
-
Collectible value: Medium–high. Due to the specific design with an architectural motif and good visual preservation, this package is interesting for collectors, especially thematic collections (architecture, Soviet hotels, tourism).
-
Condition assessment: Unopened, in excellent condition (cellophane wrapped, corners not torn).
-
Historical data and popularity: „"Golubyse Kupola" is a little-known stamp, most likely issued in a limited edition, so its popularity is not great, but it may be valuable in niche collections.
