Description:
This L&M Filter short-run (10 cigarettes), manufactured Philip Morris Argentina S.A. for the local market. On top you can see greenish Argentine stamp "Código N° 6 CIGARRILLOS"„, and also the excise tax law number is clearly marked (24,674 lei), applicable to tobacco products in the country.
The design is classic and recognizable – red, white and blue color combination with the central L&M logo. Slogan at the top „"Mellow. Distinctively Smooth"“ emphasizes the mild taste of the American blend, and the inscription on the back „Quality American Blend“ refers to the international origin of the brand.
On the side is written: „"El fumar es detrimental para la salud - Ley N° 23.344"“, as required by Argentine health legislation.
The tag is visible at the bottom „Industria Argentina“, testifying to local production.
This 10-pack version was produced in limited quantities, mainly at kiosks or retail outlets where the shorter, cheaper versions were offered. Due to the smaller print run, these packs are harder to find today, especially those still in their original foil and excise tape.
Value assessment:
Collectible Value: Medium-High. Due to the 10-pack format and local production, this version is rarer than the standard 20's packs. It is considered by collectors to be an interesting regional L&M variant.
Condition assessment: Excellent - film intact, bright colors, fully preserved stamp.
Historical data: This release reflects the period when Philip Morris expanded the L&M brand in South America using smaller packs for local markets, aiming for a more affordable price in the Value for Money segment.
