This is a classic „"Filtol Menthol"“ (or in Hungarian Filtol Menthol Füstflützer Cigarette) edition produced Hungarian Tobacco Company (In a Hungarian tobacco company). The packet stands out modernist geometric design, typical of the 1960s and 1970s, with with white diagonal line patterns on dark green background and with red Filtol logo in the center.
The inscription on the package is visible Aromásított Mentolos Füstflützer Cigarette ("Flavored Menthol Filter Cigarettes"), emphasizing the flavored type of tobacco, which was considered a more modern choice at the time. The top was covered with a layer of aluminum foil, which was a common construction for soft packs in Eastern Europe.
This edition was one of the first menthol cigarette products in Hungary, and was also exported to some countries belonging to the socialist markets. Due to its design and historical context, Filtol Mentolos is considered a great example of Eastern European tobacco design.
