Description:
The Aida cigarette pack, produced by the Bulgarian tobacco industry Bulgartabak, is a typical example of Eastern European export design of that era. The main colors are white, red and brown, with a golden horizontal line in the middle. The manufacturer Bulgartabak is indicated at the top, in the center is a large inscription "Aida", below it is "Cigarettes with a filter", and at the bottom is the marking "EXPORT". The design is minimalistic but classic, typical of Bulgarian production of the 1960s-1970s.
Value assessment:
Collectible value: Average. Aida belongs to the mid-range Bulgarian cigarette brands, but the export version with the film still intact is rated slightly higher than the packs intended for the domestic market.
Condition assessment: Unopened, original film, some light signs of age visible on the surface - very good collector's condition.
Historical data and popularity: The Bulgarian factory Bulgartabak was one of the main exporters of cigarettes to the Eastern Bloc in the 1970s and 1980s. Aida was focused on the mid-range segment and was often exported to the USSR, Hungary, and Czechoslovakia.
