Description:
„UNIT Filter Cigarettes is a modernist-style cigarette pack produced in Yugoslavia in cooperation with the Italian tobacco industry ("Produced in cooperation by a coordination Italy and..."). The design features a light gray marble background contrasting with the bright letters "UNIT" in a combination of yellow, blue and red. Small details of the Italian tricolor are visible at the top and bottom, symbolizing European partnership. The style is close to the international design of the late 1970s.
Value assessment:
Collectible value: Medium–high. This package is interesting for its dual origin – production cooperation between Yugoslavia and Italy, which was quite rare at the time. Such international releases are seen as historical examples of economic cooperation.
Condition assessment: Unopened, with original film. Corners minimally bumped, surface very well maintained - overall condition very good.
Historical data and popularity: „UNIT was not a mass-produced brand – it was most likely produced for limited export or as a trial run. Such a pack is not often found, and is therefore interesting for collectors who are interested in the history of Yugoslav tobacco production.
