Description:
„"October" (lit. October) – classic Soviet cigarettes, named in honor of the October Revolution of 1917. The design is very typical for Soviet products of that era: minimalist, with a red horizontal inscription at the top and a symbolic silhouette of a warship – an allusion to the legendary cruiser „Aurora“. At the bottom, the inscription „Жовтневі“ is made in a simple gold font. The packaging is covered with a thin protective film, which has survived to this day, although it is wrinkled in places.
Value assessment:
Collectible value: High. This is one of the "theme" packs from the Soviet era, associated with the symbolism of the revolution, and is therefore highly valued among collectors of Eastern European tobacco history. Due to the name and design reminiscent of the propaganda period, these packs have historical and political significance.
Condition assessment: Very good – the package is sealed, the colors are intact, and there are minimal signs of aging.
Historical data: „"Жовтневі" was one of the mass-produced, yet inexpensive cigarettes, usually without a filter. They were distributed both in the Ukrainian SSR and in other republics of the Soviet Union.
