Description:
Cigarettes "Русь" ("Rusʹ") were classified as a higher category and had a representative national design. A bright red background with a white inscription "Русь" and a subtle gold ornament at the top (a double-headed eagle or a coat of arms) gives the package an impression of classic luxury. The name is directly associated with the historical state of Rus, so this design had a national symbolic charge.
This variant was produced in limited quantities in the late USSR period (around 1985–1991) and was aimed at upper-class consumers.
Value assessment:
Collectible value: Medium–high. The package is well preserved, the original cellophane film is intact. "Rus" packages are relatively rarer than the popular "Yava" or "Prima" products, therefore their market value is stable. Collectors appreciate the minimalism and clear visual identity of the red version.
Condition assessment: Unopened, cellophane wrapped, very good condition. Natural fading of the plastic due to age is visible.
