Description:
Bright two-piece design: the upper part is deep red, lower – light cream with horizontal textured pattern. The name is written in large white letters in the center „"ARMADA"“, and below - stylized silhouette of a sailboat, symbolizing the sea, travel and strength.
A small sticker with text is provided above „"20 cigarettes with filter"“, typical of the early period of change after the 1990s, when EU-type warnings were not yet incorporated into packaging.
The production indicated on the sides is – „Philip Morris Lithuania“, and the red-white color contrast creates a solid, modern image. The design balances between the simplicity of Soviet aesthetics and Western composition.
Value assessment:
– Collectible value: Medium-high – Armada is not very rare, but is considered one of the first Lithuanian brands produced after the privatization of the tobacco industry. The package reflects a transitional period when local products combined Western stylistics with national design.
– Condition assessment: Very good - unopened, original film still intact, top slightly deformed due to storage, but overall appearance excellent.
– Historical data and popularity: „Armada was one of several local cigarette lines produced by Philip Morris Lithuania for the local market and export to the Baltic countries. The name and visual symbolism (a sailing ship) were chosen to convey the impression of quality and reliability typical of local products of the time.
