Description:
„Boss Ultra Lights is a classic minimalist design pack from Bosnia and Herzegovina, created at a time when local manufacturers were trying to create Western-style brands, visually similar to the likes of Kent or Marlboro Ultra Lights.
The design is very clean – white background with silver "BOSS" logo, under it the inscription “Ultra Lights”. Visible above the logo coat of arms with two lions and a crown, dated 1871, which points to an older tradition of tobacco production in the region.
On the side - a warning “"Pušenje u trudnoći harms the health of the child"” (smoking during pregnancy is harmful to the health of the child) and data on nicotine and tar content.
On top – red excise sticker, indicating the price 1.50 KM (Convertible Marks) – this confirms the permit for the Bosnian market.
The package is original, completely intact, preserved with film.
Value assessment:
– Collectible value: Average. The Boss cigarette line was in limited circulation in the Balkans, mostly Bosnia and Croatia, making it interesting to collectors as a regional example. The Ultra Lights version is rarer than the classic red Boss Filter.
– Condition assessment: Excellent - the film is undamaged, the sticker is clear, all edges are clean.
– Historical significance: This pack reflects the Balkan tobacco industry's attempt to recreate Western-style design after the economic reforms of the 1990s.
