Description
This Belair Kings Light Menthol Low Tar edition – classic medium-term Belair„ package from the USA, made Brown & Williamson companies.
The main design motif is white and blue sky graphics that convey the freshness and lightness characteristic of the image of menthol cigarettes in the 1980s.
The corner layout motif – a diagonal separation of white and blue with a subtle bird symbol at the top – is minimalist yet elegant, standing out from other US market packages of the era.
On the back – bright Brown & Williamson Coupons block that allowed users to accumulate points and exchange them for gifts under the B&W loyalty program. These coupons were used until 1998, so their presence helps to date the pack more accurately.
The information on the sides is Surgeon General's Warning, confirming that the package is intended for For the US domestic market (Domestic Issue).
Value assessment
Collectible value: Medium–high.
This edition is more visually expressive than the later Belair Refreshing Menthol (with vertical lines) and is one of the last coupon editions, therefore rated higher.
Additional value is provided by the preserved coupon block with all typography – this is considered an important historical item. B&W sign.
Condition assessment: Very good - original cellophane, clearly visible inscriptions and colors, only minimal stains from storage.
