Description:
„"Балтика" is a classic Russian cigarette pack without a filter, with a design that conveys a nautical theme. On the front and back, a yellow-blue sign with a sailing ship and the text "Балтийская Табачная Фабрика" (Baltic Tobacco Factory) is visible. The blue gradient in the lower part resembles waves, and on the top there is a white background. The excise sticker "РОССИЯ" indicates that the pack is intended for the Russian domestic market. The packaging is original, closed, but due to age, wrinkles and deformations are visible.
Value assessment:
-
Collectible value: High among soft pack collectors. Filterless cigarette packs are becoming increasingly rare, especially those produced by regional factories like this one – Baltijos Tabako Fabrikas. Such editions often survive in small quantities.
-
Condition assessment: Unopened, but deformed. Bottom part is compressed, top is slightly wrinkled. Excise stamp is intact.
-
Historical data and popularity: „"Baltika" was one of the cheaper, traditional cigarettes in Russia, intended for the mass market. Unfiltered cigarettes were common among an older audience. It is interesting to collectors as a fragment of social history - it reflects the peculiarities of tobacco consumption in the post-Soviet era.
