Description:
„"Дніпро" (lit. Dnieper) is a classic Soviet cigarette release, named after the main Ukrainian river, the Dnieper. The pack is distinguished by a blue color tone, symbolizing water, with a white and turquoise wave motif at the top and a fish silhouette in the center. The inscription "Сигареты" (cigarettes) and a warning about the harm of smoking testify to the late period of production in the USSR. The design is clean, with a regional accent, typical of Ukrainian cigarette series of that time.
Value assessment:
Collectible value: Medium–High. Ukrainian SSR cigarette packs from the Soviet era are not as common as those produced in the central USSR, so this edition is valued for both its geographical origin and its distinctive design.
Condition assessment: Unopened, very good condition. Original cellophane is slightly shrunk in places, but the colors remain bright.
Historical data and popularity: „"Дніпро" was one of the popular cigarette names of the Ukrainian SSR, symbolizing local identity. In collector communities (especially on Russian-language forums and websites SovietCigarettePacks.ru, Packcollectors.com), this edition is mentioned as a rather rare regional find.
