Description:
„"Mtkvari" is a cigarette brand produced in Georgia during the Soviet era, named after the country's main river - the Kura (in Georgian - Mtkvari). The pack is decorated with a stylized image of an ancient fortress or church, silhouetted against the moon, creating a nostalgic and historical mood. The design is kept minimalist - a white background, a gold-colored band at the bottom and a prominent brand in Georgian and Cyrillic characters. This is a typical regional edition of the Soviet era.
Value assessment:
Collectible value: Medium–High. This type of package is rare outside the former USSR, especially with Georgian designs. It is more valuable due to the non-European design and national characteristics.
Condition assessment: Unopened, very good condition - some corner deformation, but original film retained.
Historical data and popularity: „Mtkvari cigarettes were of local importance, produced in Georgia for the domestic market, and therefore little known outside the post-Soviet countries. They have value as a unique regional release from the Tbilisi Tobacco Factory.
