„"921 Lights" is a Taiwanese cigarette brand created for the local market to combine modern design with the image of "cleaner" smoking. Number 921 refers to the symbolic date (September 21, 1999) when a major earthquake struck Taiwan - this name later acquired meaning rebirth and strength symbol, therefore it was also used in the trademarks of some local brands.
The package design stands out mountain landscape and cloudy sky, conveying a sense of purity, air and lightness. The upper part is silver-tone, minimalist, with a green leaf instead of a dot on the number 9, and the inscription Lights shows a milder resin content.
The side surface provides information in Chinese and indicates the tobacco strength – 7 mg Tar / 1.5 mg Nicotine, which is typical for products intended for the Taiwanese market.
Visible in the lower part Class A 20 Cigarettes the inscription is in English, and on the back side there is an informational text in English:
