Description
Durres Special – one of the few socialist Albania cigarette brands named after Durres port city, the country's most important trading and tobacco processing center.
The package is dominated by a minimalist yet symbolic aesthetic:
logo in the central part DS (Durres Special) added anchor symbol, which is directly linked to the city's maritime heritage.
The design is clean, with dark blue top band, red line and subtle yellowish tones.
Text below “Cigare Me Filter” shows that this is filtered cigarettes, which was a sign of luxury in Albania at that time.
Visible on the top film blue excise stamp with Latin inscriptions, typical of the late socialist period, when Albania was still isolated but began to use a unified state tax marking.

Collectible value: High.
Albanian tobacco industry products from the 1980s-1990s are one of the rarest on the Eastern European collector's market, because due to the country's isolation, they were almost never exported.
Durres Special packets are considered one of the main symbols of Albanian collectible tobacco, along with Partisan and Korça.
Condition assessment: Good–very good.
There are minor storage stains, but the packaging remains original, the cellophane is intact, and the graphics are bright.
