„Paramount Lights – a light-colored American-style cigarette pack made Tobacco Factory Sarajevo (Fabrika Duhana Sarajevo - FDS). The main background is white with a gold and bronze band at the top that says "AMERICAN BLEND LIGHTS". In the middle is a large, classic "PARAMOUNT" emblem with a winged logo in a red circle, reminiscent of vintage American style.
Warnings printed on the side in several languages: "Pušenje u trudnoći škodi razvoju djeteta" and "Pušenje je štetno za zdravlje" indicate that the package was adapted for the local Bosnian market. A red excise sticker with the inscriptions is visible on top. „"Bosnia and Herzegovina"“ and worth 1.00 KM, which helps to accurately determine the period and purpose of the place.

„Paramount was one of the popular FDS products, designed to mimic the taste of American Blend tobacco. The packaging from this period is considered visually representative, but has limited distribution outside Bosnia. Collectors value this pack for its clearly identifiable regional excise stamp and authentic local design, which reflects the transitional phase of the Bosnian tobacco industry after the war.
Condition assessment:
Unopened, original cellophane wrap, excellent condition. Excise sticker is completely intact, numbers and stamp are clearly legible.

„The Paramount brand emerged as one of the attempts to create a local product that would meet international tastes. FDS sought to export Paramount to neighboring Balkan countries, but due to market restrictions, these packages remained mainly in local trade.
