Description:
This Player's "Navy Cut" Mild cigarette pack is a classic reflection of British imperial tobacco culture. The soft greenish color dominates with red lettering and the iconic portrait of a sailor - one of the most recognizable symbols of the Player's brand. The back clearly shows the inscription "Manufactured from rich cool Virginia Tobacco", as well as the name John Player & Sons and the fact that the manufacturer is a division of Imperial Tobacco of Canada. The pack is sealed with the original seal, which indicates the Canadian excise tax, and is in excellent condition, although signs of age are visible.

Value assessment:

  • Collectible value: High. Due to its age, excellent appearance and strong Player's identity, this pack is prized by both Canadian and international collectors.

  • Condition assessment: Unopened, well preserved, with minor darkening and surface stains.

  • Historical data and popularity: Player's Navy Cut was one of the most popular British cigarette brands in the mid-20th century. These editions are now valued as historical examples of collector's value.
