Description:
This is a classic European REX Filters a pack of cigarettes belonging to a Greek manufacturer Karelia Tobacco Company, one of the oldest tobacco manufacturers in Europe (founded in 1888 in Kalamata).
The package has a minimalistic design white design with a vertical dark blue stripe in the center, at the top of which – Karelia crowned coat of arms. This sign symbolizes the old European tradition of tobacco production and high-quality tobacco blends.
Inscription on the front side “"REX Filters - 20 Class A Cigarettes"”, and on the other side it says:
“"Supreme quality tobacco blend in combination with a high filtration acetate filter for a perfect enjoyment."”
This is a typical description of the period, emphasizing quality and classic taste.
The wording "Made in the EEC" (European Economic Community) allows us to date this package to 1993, when the term "European Union" was officially used.
