Description:
Brightly red metallic background with a subtle diagonal line pattern. In the center — a large, white, minimalist logo „V8“ with a small note Red under it.
Above the logo – coat of arms emblem, reminiscent of traditional premium style brands.
On the sides of the road: “"El fumar es harmful para la salud"”, “SOLO FOR ADULTS” and manufacturer data.
On top – Argentine excise sticker "Código Nº 8 – CIGARRILLOS"„, with a record IMP. INT. LEY 24.674, typical of the first decade of the 2000s.
Interesting fact – in the packaging 18 cigarettes, rather than the usual 20, which was a marketing exclusivity for the V8 (aiming for a lower price and a more youthful market).
Value assessment:
– Collectible value: Medium-high, as V8 was a short-lived, regional brand that is now almost extinct. Such packs are highly prized by South American collectors, especially when intact.
– Condition assessment: Excellent - the cellophane is intact, the sticker is neat, the color is bright.
– Historical significance: A good example of how local manufacturers tried to create cigarettes with a Western "sporty" image (the name "V8" is obviously associated with engine power, speed, and energy).
