The name is clearly associated with the country's capital, and the package design is burgundy background with with a golden ornament, symbolizing Armenian cultural heritage and royal motifs.
The packaging is marked "20 Class A filter cigarettes – American blend", indicating that the tobacco blend is tailored to Western tastes.
On the side is Russian excise sticker "Import / Aktsiznaya mark"„, so this package is for for export to Russia – a fairly common practice at Grand Tabak in the early 2000s.
