This Jockey Bicentennial Edition<\/strong> \u2013 limited edition anniversary pack of Jockey cigarettes, released 2010.<\/strong> In Argentina, commemorating 200th anniversary of independence (1810\u20132010)<\/strong>. This edition was produced by Nobleza Piccardo SAIC.<\/strong>, belonging to British American Tobacco<\/strong> for the concern.<\/p>\n

On the top of the package is official Argentine banderola "C\u00f3digo N\u00b0 4 - CIGARRILLOS"\u201e<\/strong> with a record \u201cIMP. INT. LEY 24.674\u201d<\/em>.
The illustration in this edition shows \u201e"boleador"\u201c<\/strong> \u2013 a traditional South American gaucho tool, symbolizing the Argentine cowboy culture. The design features a white base with vertical red stripes on the sides and subtle national colors (light blue and white).<\/p>\n

On the back there was an advertising text inviting people to participate in a national lottery dedicated to the Bicentennial - the prizes were trips to famous places in Argentina (Calafate, Cataratas, Salta<\/em>).

This is one of the few Bicentennial series<\/strong> designs \u2013 each packet depicted a different national symbol (e.g. "mate", "boleadoras", "bandera", etc.).<\/p>\n
