\u201e"Bastos" is one of the oldest Belgian cigarette brands, founded in the late 19th century (around 1900) in Belgium, and later included in SEITA<\/strong> (French tobacco monopoly) structure. This particular edition \u2013 \u201eBastos De Luxe - L\u00e9g\u00e8res\u201c<\/strong>, i.e. a "light" version package intended for the Western European market (especially France and Belgium).<\/p>\n

Classic red and white design<\/strong> with the gold "BASTOS" logo in the center and the blue "L\u00e9g\u00e8res" inscription at the bottom symbolizes a milder tobacco blend.
The coat of arms with a crown and a knight's shield indicates the upper class ("De Luxe") segment.<\/p>\n

This is one of Basta's last classic releases. before switching to modernized packaging with big warnings<\/strong> after the beginning of 1990.<\/p>\n

Collectible value:<\/strong> Medium-high among Western European packages. "Bastos" are not particularly rare, but this one De Luxe L\u00e9g\u00e8res<\/strong> The variant with the cellophane still intact and the clean surface is prized by collectors, especially in the Belgian and French markets.
Condition assessment:<\/strong> Unopened, cellophane wrapped, excellent condition<\/strong> \u2013 no deformation, bright colors.
Historical data and popularity:<\/strong> \u201eBastos has long been one of the most popular Belgian tobacco brands, sold in many European countries.
