Djagung Super<\/em> \u2013 this is one of the more interesting and visually distinctive kretek<\/em> packages from Kudus, an Indonesian city considered kretek<\/em> the birthplace of cigarettes. Name Djagung<\/strong> means "corn", so the corn symbol used in the center of the design is a reference to the natural, earthy, "local land" flavor.<\/p>\n

On the front of the package \u2013 an inscription Special Edition<\/em> and an illustration of a cornfield, conveying a motif of traditional Indonesian agriculture. The color palette is red, silver-gray and black, with gold trim.
A blue excise stamp with the words "Djagung" is clearly visible on the side, and on the back is a minimalist description of the combination of high-quality tobacco and cloves.<\/p>\n

This is one of those regional brands that briefly appeared in the 2000s as special edition<\/em> series, so this edition is considered quite rare today.<\/p>\n
