Description:
Djagung Super – this is one of the more interesting and visually distinctive kretek packages from Kudus, an Indonesian city considered kretek the birthplace of cigarettes. Name Djagung means "corn", so the corn symbol used in the center of the design is a reference to the natural, earthy, "local land" flavor.
On the front of the package – an inscription Special Edition and an illustration of a cornfield, conveying a motif of traditional Indonesian agriculture. The color palette is red, silver-gray and black, with gold trim.
A blue excise stamp with the words "Djagung" is clearly visible on the side, and on the back is a minimalist description of the combination of high-quality tobacco and cloves.
This is one of those regional brands that briefly appeared in the 2000s as special edition series, so this edition is considered quite rare today.
