„Litoral is one of the iconic Romanian tobacco products, created during the socialist era as a "summer prestige" cigarette for both the local and tourist markets. The name itself Coastal means "coast" (a reference to the Black Sea region), and the design subtly conveys a nautical motif - we see a stylized yacht, seaside hotels, and soft tones of azure.
Above – clear inscription COASTAL in blue letters on a white, cream background, with a bright red horizontal line symbolizing the horizon or sunset. In the lower part - 20 Superior Cigarettes, which means "20 premium cigarettes", and the inscription Filter emphasizes that it was a higher-end type with a filter (which was still a novelty in Romania at the time).
This pack is considered a design classic among Eastern European tobacco products of the 1960s-1980s – minimalist, yet with a strong cultural identity.
