Description
Lovcen – one of the most recognizable Montenegrin tobacco products, named after Mount Lovcen, on which stands the Njegoš Mausoleum - the national symbol of Montenegro.
The design of this package combines traditional Yugoslav aesthetics of simplicity with a strong national identity: depicted in a gold-colored circle mausoleum on the mountain, and the red top gives the packaging contrast and visual weight.
Below – classic ribbon with inscription „King Size“ and a round emblem depicting the symbol of the Montenegrin eagle.
This release was one of the main Tobacco Factory Titograd products oriented towards the local and export markets (especially the Balkan region and the Soviet Union).
Value assessment
Collectible value: Medium–high.
„Lovćen Filter is rated as an authentic relic of the socialist Yugoslavia period, representing the national style and local tradition of tobacco production.
Packages with bilingual inscriptions (Cyrillic and Latin form) are considered more valuable because they mark the transitional period between regional and export permits.
Condition assessment: Very good – cellophane in place, colors preserved, minimal surface darkening from age.
