Description:
„Sobieski Menthol Lights is one of the versions of cigarettes produced in Poland, named after the historical Polish king Jan III Sobieski. The packaging is characterized by a bright mint green color, a minimalist yet elegant design with gold elements and inscriptions in Polish. On the top part, a Polish excise stamp with the date 2004 is visible, which allows us to date this release quite accurately. These are menthol-flavored light cigarettes ("lights"), popular at a time when menthol products were not yet banned in the EU.
Value assessment:
-
Collectible value: Average. Sobieski is not very well known internationally, but its association with a historical figure and visually striking design may be of interest to regional collectors.
-
Condition assessment: Unopened, in excellent condition, with original film and excise sticker. Aesthetic condition – very good.
-
Historical data and popularity:
„Sobieski cigarettes were in limited distribution in Poland, and the menthol variants were quite popular until the ban in 2020. Although this particular pack was not a limited edition, its survival in excellent condition with the 2004 mark adds to its collectible value.
